Can I say everything that I want to say to Anne and Matt into the proper words? I doubt it… Anne gave me a double duty to do on her wedding day. I was Matron of Honour as well as photographer. I have to admit that there were a few times leading up to her wedding that I thought I was going to go crazy because I thought I had taken on more than I could handle. We had it worked out so the day was as stress free as possible and I can not imagine not being both Anne’s Matron of Honour as well as her photographer. It made the day even more special for me.

Anne and Matt planned an elegant, family style backyard BBQ wedding where people could just hang out and see people they haven’t seen in a long time and they did a fabulous job at it. The day started out a little bit busy, but by the time the ceremony started, everyone was calm and relaxed. The ceremony was beautiful. It was a packed Church with a wonderful feel. After the ceremony, we took some time to take more pictures of Anne and Matt around Fall River. We found an awesome barn to use, since it was quite sunny out and we needed to find some shade. When we went to the reception, we had an awesome welcome from the guests, ate so much amazing food and had lots of time to talk to family and catch up. Anne and Matt looked so perfect together and I LOVE that they cut their cake (that I made!) with a sword!

The ladies of Aveda Life Salon in Dartmouth Crossing did an amazing job with our makeup

My cousin, Jessie did our hair (she also did my bridal parties hair back when Justin and I got married).

I love this photograph by Adam. It pretty much sums up the day. Me shooting, Emily (the grooms sister) staying close by to Anne.

The whole time that we were getting ready, Anne kept saying “I just want to marry Matthew right now! Why do I have to wait?” Photograph of the flowers below by Adam.

I had a camera at the front of the church with me so that I would be able to capture some unique angles throughout the ceremony. I love this angle of my dad giving Anne away.

The beautiful flowers were by Petals Flowers at the Bedford Mall. They always impress me with their work every time I see it.

In order to get the bride and groom to kiss, a guest had to first kiss the fish. This made for some quite amused guests.

Anne wanted lemon blueberry cake so I baked for an entire day before the wedding to get enough layers and filled them with bowls of Swiss meringue butter cream and fresh Nova Scotia blueberries. The cake was served with Anne’s favorite lemon sherbet from Maine. My cousin Crystal, the chef who catered my own wedding placed the fresh flowers on the cake.

I need to thank Adam Graham for second shooting for me throughout the day… this would not have been possible without him!
