Steph and Justin : Almond Morgan Bay, St Lucia!

Steph and Justin are great people on their own, but combined into a couple, they are one of the sweetest, friendliest and considerate couples I have ever met. They reside in Toronto but their love has traveled through two continents before they pledged their love to each other on the small, volcanic island of St Lucia, surrounded by 33 of their closest friends and family. Having grown up in the same city, and moved to Geneva for work then back closer to home in Toronto, they compliment each other better then one could imagine. During Justin’s wedding speech, he described that although he does not know why they work well as a couple, they just do. She likes raisins but he doesn’t.
They chose The Almond Morgan Bay Resort in St Lucia as their marriage location and it could not have been better. After a morning of gleefully getting ready for the wedding with the girls, Steph and Justin had a first look overlooking the ocean. It was so romantic and almost brought me to tears.

Steph, you are gorgeous!
You looked pretty dapper yourself, Justin!

The moment that the bride finishes dressing is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. I always love to see the moms and bridesmaids reactions

The first look…

As soon as the ceremony started in The Peir, the sky opened up and it rained hard. They only rain of the entire day, just enough for good luck.

Married!

Loved the bridal party

The Almond Morgan Bay is so picturesque. I loved shooting there.

There was a bit of dancing on the beach

Steph and Justin, thank you for taking me to St Lucia with you. It was an amazing way to start my 2011 wedding season! I have incredible memories of the trip and love the opportunity to get to know the two of you, as well as your friends and family so well. Stay tuned for more images from the trip!
