Monica and Graham : Gaspereau Vineyard, Nova Scotia
September 20, 2010Monica and Graham have been married for just about 4 weeks now and I could not be more thrilled for them! I dreamed about their wedding ever since they booked me in the summer of 2009 because of all the details they were planning. A valley wedding in a vineyard, sunflowers, super cute decor and a beautiful dress. Their wedding turned out to be just as beautiful as I was dreaming, if not more. The day started out in Windsor, at The Woodshire Inn with Graham and his groomsmen, while Monica got ready at her parents home. Gaspereau Vineyard hosted the wedding where they said “I do” in the middle of the grapevines. Enough talk, on to the photos!

Monica requested for me to hang her dress in this tree for some images. She spent a lot of time playing and climbing it when she was a child.

The bouquet was wrapped with a locket containing Monica’s grandparents images.

They decided to have a first look and it was so romantic. I love doing this and highly recommend it for your own wedding day

Rock, paper, scissors to decide who says the vows first! They were so sweet and heartfelt:
I promise to provide comfort while always keeping you on your toes, to love you when love is simple and when it is complex, and to create with you
a home filled with good food, good music, memories of our latest travel adventure, love, affection and one which is never short on silliness
I promise to always laugh with you, laugh at you, and always kiss you goodnight
I promise to continue challenging you to be a better person, face difficulties with you face on, and provide hugs whenever needed.
I promise to honor you, trust you and always give you the best of myself, despite knowing you will love me, even at my worst.
This is my solemn vow

During cocktail hour, the guests were treated to a wine tour around the vineyard and samples of all the wines they produce at Gaspereau.

I love the decor!
