I got the opportunity to photograph Alexa and Dustin a couple of weeks ago while I was still in Victoria. Alexa is the awesome makeup artist that I have been working with on my last few bridal sessions. Are they not beautiful together?

Alexa does makeup so beautifully that no processing needs to be done on your face after the photo session!

A couple of weeks ago, Colleen and I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at the Tigh-na-mara Resort in Parksville, BC. The day was absolutely gorgeous with a few clouds in the sky- perfect for an outdoors wedding by the beach! The ceremony was followed by a delicious buffet reception and two wedding cakes (one cupcake tower and a grooms cake)!

Today is finally the day, I am moving back to Halifax! After a year of living in BC, it will be nice to be home again.

Colleen and I photographed two bridal sessions together last week for our portfolios which are required to graduate from our photography college. They were  a total blast to do together and we had the greatest models.

Eva and Josh were married last summer in a small ceremony after meeting while traveling in Australia. Next summer they are going to have their big wedding with Eva’s family from England and Josh’s family from here in Victoria. We started the session at the train yard and finished it at their family farm with its gorgeous light, long grass, fences and barns. I do love shooting at farms!
